According to Batsford it's publication date was 30/10/04 but Amazon has it as
1/12/04. I've had it on order for a couple of months now but the order says not
released by publisher yet. I'm confused - not an unusual situat
I ordered the book "50 New milanese lace paterns" last 2th. October,
and I received the book 2 weeks ago from Amazon co.uk.
Price: 18.27 GBP including shipping to Spain.
Beutiful book for all who are in love of Milanese Lace !

Well, Angela suggested I might like to adapt Russain BL, and Jeri
recommended me the book, so . . Russian Point lace ! LOL
And Jane Swanson has just sent me a whole load of B'berg patterns, which
will be lovely for RPL !
So, as usual I shall make the usual Lacemaker's complaint "So m
I'm pretty sure I saw it at on one of the stands at the NEC on sunday but

I have been storing pillows in the square plastic bags that sheets sets come
in. They have zipper closures However, the textile conservator that spoke
at The Lace Museum last spring was not happy about this choice and felt that
there would be off gassing from the plastic. Does anyone have a

I would agree with the conservator that your zippered plastic storage bags
probably aren't good for long term storage - but if you need to store your
pillows in something, they will do. I suggest taking them out occasionally
to air, or leave the bags open, to offset any g
