At the OIDFA congress in Ghent, this dress was discussed in one of the
lecture sessions but I unfortunately do not have the print-out any longer
but it was essensially as Laurie puts it (as far as I can remember!!). I
admire Laurie for her knowledge and the willingness to share it with us all!
Indeed Martin Tuffnell (Bill's son) still runs the business.He also has
wonderful christmas ornaments as well and is well worth seeing. He is
usually at Cranmore Park, Harrogate Lace Day and will be at Wolds Lace Day

provide more information about the picture on the front of her book although
I am not sure where she is nowadays. The information on the inside cover of
