You could do what I did when I was working one of my City Guilds pieces - go through the numbers in the various fonts on your computer until you find a style you like. Change the setting to outline and change the font size until you get the size you want. Print it out on acetate or tracing

When you type 'Bobbin Lace' in e-bay there are lots of tops with lace for sale. In fact there are so many sometimes it is hard to find the lace, books and bobbins. Malvary in Ottawa where it is cool and raining again (or is that still). Supposed to go up to 25c by Sunday in time for the

Thank you to everyone who offered advice when I inadvertently put a piece of lace through a hot wash. I dampened the lace and pinned it back onto it's pricking. That was two weeks ago and tonight I felt brave enough to take the pins out. I'm happy to report that it has recovered its shape.
