Hello All! For Janice, I don't believe I have ever seen a British robin!
However, at LOL (Lacers of the Lake) today, I received a copy of a bird
medallion & edging. The title is 1 KYYHKYSET, photo by Petri Takala, using 17
or 18 pairs, bouc file de lin a dentelles #140 or DMC Retors d'Alsace

pricking that I can adapt for my purpose. You guys are great. I should also
have mentioned that we use the craft sale to raise money for charity, not for

The robin that immediately leaps into my mind is the one designed by
Kitty Mason MBE, which is in The Lace Guild's Christmas Decorations
book. It is a Milanese pattern, but could possibly be adapted to Honiton
or Needlelace.
