also try using a scanner either with the lid open or closed (open casues a
black background (due to low depth of field) and works wonders with light
coloured laces)
scanners are also usually much higher definition than cameras
and you dont have to wory about lighting conditions, wobbly hands, ect)

Im the first to admit shunning technology and think its ease of
use has had a negative effect of ability and concentration over the last
generation or so
So it may be surprising that I would never be parted from my
kindle, its again the lack of need for storage space, portability of e
