Since the List is a bit quiet, Noelene tell us a bit more about your group's plans. This is a HUGE project. On the webpage, I see that they are using an historically correct bonnet pattern, but it can be decorated in either authentic designs or modern designs. The sample pictures says embroidery

It's actually our Cooma Craft group making the bonnets - we have a membership of about 20 regulars who meet every Tuesday to sew, knit, embroider, etc. A couple of us are lacemakers, so naturally we'll try to make a bit of lace for our bonnets. We will use poor quality calico (I think it's called
