Over here in Australia, a lacemaker was awarded an Order of Australia in the Birthday Honours - Petronella Wensing who lives in Canberra. She has some lace on (?)permanent show in the national museum. I had the privilege of going to a 2 day workshop she gave here in Melbourne about 5 years ago -
