Hi All,
I recently had occasion to try laminating with a machine embroidered badge I
had done. To fill up the laminating sheet I added prickings of ducks (for my
granddaughter) and one hand crocheted bookmark.
I was pleased with the result and will be trying laminating with small, flat

Hello Antje
Your linen thread probably has sizing in it. Try a test before treating
doing anything with your scarf. Take a length from the spool and get it
quite wet in clear water, put the wet thread between two layers of a towel
and press the water out. Let it air dry and you should see a differ
I have just finished one of Cathleen Belleville's rosalibre designs to be
mounted as a brooch. I was so pleased with it, although it was the first
"complete" piece I have made, that I immediately started another one. It
hasn't got very far yet, because I was side-tracked into knitting up some of

to finish it today or tomorrow.
Now I am making fishes of bobbin lace

Lace Guild retreat at the beginning of November. I have passed the halfway
mark; a good thing since this is going to be a Christmas gift for my mom. I'm
having so much fun with this project that I can't wait to start an
I've been working on edging for a set of placemats. I chose this
project for my demos at Heritage Park in Calgary this past summer. I
