Hello All! Clay & her committee rolled out the welcome mat at Sweet Briar
College last week & what a time we had! In addition to the excellent
workshops, we were treated to selections from the Sweet Briar lace collection,
including some of my favorites--drop dead Milanese & fine whitework. To
I am in the process of editing the mailing list for "Lace at Sweet Briar" which
will be held in mid-June in Virginia. Due to the high cost of printing and
mailing, I have removed many names of people who have received the brochure for
years, but have never responded. However, I would be happy t

I have finally had the time to sit down and go through photographs and

Greetings, Spiders!!
I'm writing from cold, snow-covered Virginia! It seems as though all

So, while thinking warm thoughts, I thought I might rem
What a week of making lace! 27 hours of class, officially. Many spent extra

everyone again next year! Thanks to Clay Blackwell, Karen Douglas
Last week it was my pleasure to attend Lace at Sweet Briar, and I can
honestly say I have never attended a better organized event. Kudos to Clay
Blackwell for all her hard work and attention to detail, and to the other
helpers,
teachers and vendors who made it possible.
