They do come from China or somewhere like that ours came from ebay.

worldwide. DH got some for the car but said they had bulbs for all purposes.

We use an LED light in the bathroom and another one in the bedside lamp in the
bedroom. The light is superb!! Agreed, they are an initial expense, but the
amount of energy they consume is minute! My advice would be to just try one

I recently bought an LED light bulb that's the equivalent of at 60 watt bulb
that I used in the bedroom for reading. It's shaped like a regular light
