Right clicked the pricking, selected copy image and pasted it into my
picture viewer, printed as is and it was the length of our letter-size
paper, bigger around than m

Just checked the pattern on the Lace Guild Website. It says to
measure your wrist and then add more repeats as necessary.
Also, since A4 paper is a European size try printing it on Legal size
paper which is larger than A4.
