This reminded me of another method I saw once. The
lacer had a cicle of cloth a bit larg
"" the pants off a pair of tights [washed of course]
to cover the whole pillow. to keeps her bobbins etc in place.""
This works well, but I also use a knitters stitch-holder through the
spangles.

A lady I know uses the pants off a pair of tights [washed of course]
to cover the whole pillow. to keeps her bobbins etc in place.
They cause a lot of hilarity at lacedays. But it works!!!
