Mine does also, and it has a batch of pages missing as well. I was
going to send it back to the publisher, but then I got distracted by an
appendectomy.
If we're talking about Cook Stott's book, Dover Press, mine is OK - or at
least I haven't noticed any duplicate or missing page numbers. I recieved
mine recently, so it's the revised 2002 edition.
