wonderful to think that my enquiry arising from my sons visit brought back so

I was invited to Australia to teach for the Sydney branch of the
Embroiderers' Guild for their 50th Anniversary, also the Melbourne branch
and for the Australian Lace Guild at Perth who arranged a trip to Hyden and
The Lace Place at the end of the Convention. It was too far to make the

collection.
It is well worth a visit and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

just made me wish even more that it was me that holidayed in Australia and not
my son. Him and his wife had a wonderful time over there and have

approx. 400 kms from Perth.The original collection belonged to one of the
leading ladies in Perth many years ago and I believe the lace was taken to
