I went on a tour with Diana Glasspool, which was truly lovely.
My roommate and I opted out of the Normandy beaches (I had just lost my
father, so more graves weren't interesting to me) and stayed behind to look
at the Tapestry. We took at least 2 hours the first time we went through,
and the next
A visit to Bayeux is on my TO DO list for the trip to
Europe next summer. The Tapestry is a 'must see', but
I also want to see any lace related sites.
The internet searching I've done seems to mention only
the Normandy beaches, and ignores anything about lace.
