I think that that David's postcard maybe from some where in Eastern
France near the Spanish border.

As a Spanish lacer, I can say that the pillow of the postcard is like our
vertical pillows. The bobbins are the traditional Catalonian boxwood bobbins
used all over Spain. And even the pattern is a traditional model made in
CamariƱas and Almagro, a mixture of torchon and guipur.
