One of the advantages to age-related memory loss, (yes there is
at least one) is that I am able to re-read my favorite books every
few years because I forget enough of the story to make it a joy
to re-read them!

Got a question for The Great Fiber Resouce (aka Arachne). Out there among
(amidst?) all of you I'm sure there is an answer to this question that's been
there for a long time. I just never had the time/resource to find the answer
'til I found all of you. Today I'm starting a new shawl (knitted lac

piece of music :( There are programs out there which will convert ram to
wav. but they are expensive. :( I think your best bet is to run your
computer sound through your stereo and then record the music from there.

Happy 9th birthday. Hard to believe I've been here since the first birthday.
One of my favourite authors is Angela Thirkell. She wrote in the era that
Tamara mentioned - 30's- 60's, and was the granddaughter of Edward
Burne-Jones, the pre-Raphaelite painter. Her books use charact
Try Claire Rayner's non-medical novels. They flow well, and are mostly
historical, as far as I can recall. It is a long time since I read any of
them. They are often series tracing the lives of a family / group of
families through the years, so make sure you start at the beginning!
