Yes, this is needlelace. It's typical of Chinese production. I'm not sure
that it is vintage though. In 1993 I bought a new table cloth very similar
to this in Australia and it was clearly marked Made in China. I think
you had a good price too. My cloth is on my dining room

I agree that it is really nice and it certainly is well done. A 'steal' at
that price and for that size I would say. I am not sure that it is vintage
as it looks 'modern' to me. A very nice design and well executed. Definitely
hand made needlelace.

I agree with the others that your doily is very nice, but probably not
vintage.
There is a page on my website showing detail of a modern Chinese
needlelace mat of mine which had some damage near the edge so I
carefully unpicked it to prove that it's handmade. Although the
