Hi!
I would like to thank very much for this great page with Kernel Packet
Traveling Diagram and to suggest small update concerning IMQ.
I think the sentence:
IMQ in input comes before nat so IMQ does not know the real ip address.
Ingress comes after nat, so ingress knows the real ip address.
hello experts,
i wanna deploy ipv6 on my osx and i got a provider that give
me ipv6 support on a dynamic ip adress.
BUT i need to set up iproute2 on my system and i am not
experienced in compiling , but i am willing to learn .:)
My setup is an apache 2.0.52
hi sylvain,
yea -- i'm a little lost here as well.
it appears that you have a tunnel and policy, therefore, i too am a bit
confused. counters reflect 0 in setkey -D ... traffic is not using the
tunnel.
if i were you, i would start with a simple tunnel (psk) and watch what
happens on each side
Hi all,
After posting some emails here and googling in the net. I have now a little clarity where and how to start bandwidth Management.
Hope I can still be guided though.
My understanding is I will be needing these modules and linux utilities. I hope someone can confirm.

In 2.6 kernel series, the IMQ patch allow you to change this behaviour.
For 2.4 kernels I had seen (some time ago) something about it in IMQ
faqs or there.
You can changhe this behaviour, but I don't remember now if for 2.4
kernels were changing some #define in any .c or .h file.
Best regards

1. Is there any packages for CBQ or HTB that I can just compiled

No. Kernel modules must be built using the .config file in
/usr/src/linux and are specific to the things that are specified
therein. It is not possible to
I've been looking around (kerneltrap, spennberg) and it looks like ipsec
is broken for 2.6.11... that might be a good explanation for my unsolvable
problem ;)

Hi all, I need some guidance to get my problem fixed. I believe there
is an issue with the 'nth' patch from the patch-o-matic, which is
labeled as status 'works'.
I have tunnels back and forth across the internet, using 'nth' to
balance packets between different public networks (over the tunnels).

Hi
I have tested with FC3 but iam not able get any good results on that.
in the list some one recomend me that 3.17 HTB should work
I saw latest FC4 test2 has the HTB 3.17 with iptables 1.3.0
i have install in my P4 box, and trying to test
when iam uploading its working perfect,
I have some more information :
after modifying libipt_nth.c to show the counter when doing an
iptables -t mangle -L command, I discovered that even though I have
been setting the counter, it treats all my rules (if you call them
that) as having a counter value of '0'.
I'm thinking this must be a
