That looks like the menu for LabVIEW Full version and not Professional. You're also missing the Compare and Source Code Controls items. You might want to double check your license. Does your LV install CD state Professional Development System? When you did the install, did you choose a custom insta

Any application created from LV requires the labview runtime engine. On a side note, I don't know of any executables that are independent to dlls, even though the dlls are assumed to be on every OS. Even if you create a C program without specifying any dependent dlls, the default is to link with
