Hi all,
Anybody knows how much can cost ICSA certification for firewalls? We might
be interested in certifying a Leaf based firewall and need a gross estimate
of the money needed :)
Thanks in advance

Hi,
First of all, we have used gcc 3.2.3 and glibc 2.3.2, superfreeswan 1.99.8
on a Gentoo 1.4 system.
We have downloaded a vanilla 2.4.24 kernel, applied the patches and
compiled. This is the error we get:

At this moment we are using stock 2.4.22 kernel with the last 1.99 FreeSwan
available and 1.9.13 grsecurity, but no way, we cant get it to compile u

Hi all,
Some time ago we suffered a DOS attack based on a known bug in 2.4.20 kernel
(something related to ARP tables). Thishas been solved in 2.4.21 but seems
nobody has a Bering system with such a kernel.
I recall Jaques had some problems with the IDE module. Any success? Anybody

Following the "Template system" -> "Config system" etc, has anybody seen

This kind of consensus is only needed when using the template system. You
can still use the old way without too much trouble.

Hi all,
I have been following the discussion about the need for a "graphical" system
to configure LEAF systems. As it has been already commented, one of the
daunting tasks is to be able to work through the easy system and keep the
power of direct editing.
We faced that question some time
0 Bering systems.
So please, if you have any clue with CBQ or HTB I am all ears :)) In the
meantime I'm going to investigate in the sites you recommended.
BTW, a stupid doubt. When you do NAT, for upload QoS the rules are related
to the private IP's or the public IP?

done?
