OK, we've had our test DCD-DCD, gw-gw vpn up continuously for several
weeks. In fact, I used it earlier this evening to transfer files.
Of a sudden, the tunnel no longer functioned!
This is what we saw:

hi,
With Dachstein 1.0.2, is it possible to have a 4 NIC system where:
eth0: Internet via Cable.
eth1: Internet via DSL
eth2: localnet
eth3: DMZ.
I'd like to have 2 lines dedicated to the Internet connection for
redundancy. It looks like Dachstein has the needed options in
the Kernel,
I'm trying to configure the 3rd NIC in my Dachstein LRP box and I
cannot find many docs regarding ROUTES. What I am confused about is
which networks this relates to. I'm thinking it should be the eth2
net and the eth0 (external) net.
For example. If my
eth0 is at 75.75.25.7 & 255.255.252.0 th

I was in a weird mood today and decided to let my autisic, u..

for LEAF.
You can check them out at:

Wow, Kenneth, nearly instant response!! Thanks. I'll have my friend
try it out and let you know. In fact even though I have DSL, I also
have dialup so I could try it also.

Is there anywhere I can find an example DMZ config script. I'm going
through the documentation and about 95% is making sense but a couple
of things are challenging me.
If there are none, I'd be happy to supply one once I get it figured
out but may end up asking a bunch more questions on the li
You can try http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/khadley/ppp.html
there is right now no direct link on my web pages to it cause I need some

I am sure this question is so obvious that I can't see the answer
right in front of my nose! I am a happy user of Dachstein with dhcp
DSL, but I have a friend who wants to use Dachstein with dialup.
What is needed to use leaf (e.g. Dachstein) with ppp dialup? ppp.lrp?
pppd.lrp? Can Kenneth Had
How do you get the ipchains command to tell you what the current masq
timeouts are? There is nothing on the ipchains man page that displays
it. I see the remaining time with -M -L, but where is the parm set?
thanks.
