Did that command actually run, or did portsentry prevent it from running?

The only difference is the name. The ELD_LRP-2.9.8* files are from Dave
Cinege. Also, the ELD_Eiger-3.1.0a* files

ok,
i got this thing working now :)
problem was that there was a line with name in the file dsl-provider and i
thought, that i should put the userid in there.
i changed the line to user and now it works, strange.
well, thanks again to all the people who helped.
