somewhere that blocks ALL rfc1918 addresses in Shorewall? That norfc
switch in shorewalls, erm, one of the shorewall files? I know that NTL

Yes, there are lots of modules that you need to load.
They are in Your modules/kernel/net/sched.
I can't remember how I found out which ones I needed. Either I loaded
all of them or I used trial and error.
If you look carefully in the script, there is a comment on how to put it

necessary. I shall follow the it's not broken rule.

The $(( ... )) is necessary, and
Foreground seems to mean when running in daemon mode it will echo output
it has to stdout but nothing much happens..
Have tried the run-as-root switch and also run-as-euser=root but no luck..
