Hello,
I just noticed shorewall version 3.4-beta3 was added
to the packages area of the site, but it shows in the
released area not the testing area. Is it possible to
get to version 3.2.8 somehow?
Thank you,
Brett

Tired of spam
u did was uncomment the default it should
look like this?
auto eth2
iface eth2 inet static
address 192.168.1.100
netmask 255.255.255.0
broadcast 192.168.1.255
To us dhcp on eth2 you need to have it like this
auto eth2
iface eth2 inet dhcp
Have you done this already? B
barassed, you hit it right on. The box
had been opened to remove an unused sound card and the
NIC seems to have been not seated after a quick check.
Thank you for all your help and sorry to have wasted
everybodys time.

Hello,
I'm trying to load 3c59x.o module on Bering uClibc
2.4.
other modules load properly, but this one fails time
and time again with
init_module: 3c59x: No such device
I have tried to re-download the module package,
re-download and make a new Bering disk, all with no
success. Same machine work
package for gated
or routed. Is there anyone who knows anything about this or how I can set up
some redundancy, primarily:
Route to site A via route A unless route A is down then route via Route B
Thanks
Brett Stevens
hi,
there are two tulip drivers in the modules package.
try the other one. i am using the same cards with the
module that is sized 49501 (dont recall right now
which is which)

hi,
i think if you edit your modules package and list your
modules in the order you want the cards assigned it
will take care of your problem.
of course be sure to back up the modules package.

hi,
while the docs recommend against using dns names the
ability is there with 1.3.9 and later, if i'm not
mistaken.
http://www.shorewall.net/configuration_file_basics.htm#dnsnames
i'd say if it works for you use it, at least try it on
a test box if possible.

i've used them for 2-3 years now. they are very good.
fantastic uptime and little or no BS for people
running servers.

it sounds like you have an apache issue.
try http://httpd.apache.org/docs/vhosts/index.html for
help with virtual hosts with apache.

I really need to fit onto one floppy, although
the booting of .lrp packages sounded cool and wanted to know if anyone
has done it. Basically I know you can do it, so I want to do it. :)

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any information on getting Oxygen to boot
with TFTP or has any documentation to point me in the right direction.
- Thanks
