Hi all, Just a quick question about compiling a kernel for Bering. Is it possible to compile a kernel with built in support for interface cards -thus removing the requirement of defining the drivers as modules. I will be running it off a 32MB CF card so I am not worried about the kernel size.

Hi, I am using Bering rc2 on a compact flash card at the moment. Working well, just have a question though, Would it be possible to build a kernel with FDDI support? A quick internet scan shows there has been a little work done to combine Token Ring and LRP in the past but I found no reference

Hi Dave, I had the same problems last week trying to syslinux a Compact Flash Card. What worked for me is I created a Windows 98 boot disk that had only system files on it. (Format A: /s) copy Syslinux to the disk Boot machine and Lock C: Syslinux C: It seems that the regular Win98 boot disk
