I suggest appending the following line to /etc/profile:
alias mflash="mount -t msdos /dev/nftla1 /flash"
Then backup etc.lrp
Here are some of the aliases I use in my /etc/profile.
alias cls="clear"
alias ll="ls -al | more"
alias msl="more /var/log/syslog"
alias tsl="tail /var/log/syslog"
