Has anyone tried this?
Stock standard download of the 3.1 floopy .bin file won't boot under Hyper-V
Does anyone have an idea where to start to figure this one out?
I have no scsi card in the VM, set it as a single cpu in the VM, 1024Mb Ram
Loading linux
Loading initrd.lrp..
Just a guess: nonstandard floppy size (if it is?) not usable under Hyper-V

Using a floppy won't get you far, specially if you're limited to a
standard 1.44 drive

if you find out what exactly that is, I'm sure you'll make many people
happy. Nobody I know of has figured that out so far (with regard to
other VMs like qemu).
