I finally have a working ppp(dial-up) connection using straight outa the box Bering. Everything works, except: ** I cannot complete the load from the 2nd floppy. The install seems to cut off mid flight. Here is the syslinux.cfg I am using (all in one line starting with 'default'): --

I'm using two floppy drives, both formated to 1680. If I can get the line length down, it will attempt to load more from the 2nd floppy, until it hits the line length limit. Surely others have run up against a similar issue with two fd's and ppp0 --> eth0. Thanks. -- Bob On Monday 21 July 2

1) So, is there any way to use the 'append' option to shorten the line and pull out the 'log_size' and syst_size'? Do I need to have 'ramdisk_size'? 2) If I install 'netutils' (for example), then backup 'root', will 'netutils' stay permanent and I can remove it from the list? I'll give it a t
