OK that explains alot. In checking my logs now I see the daemon log shows: Jan 11 13:33:08 firewall in.tftpd[17741]: cannot set groups for user nobody when the thin client tries to access it. I tried adding nobody to /etc/group but that had no effect. KK J.L. Blom wrote: Short reply:

Eric, I uncommented the line in /etc/inet.d and backed up etc.lrp On reboot I see no listing in ps and no line in the daemon log or any of the other logs that suggest tftpd started or tried to start. tftpd shows up in the backup menus so I believe it loaded OK. Is there a command line way of st

I am using Bering uClibc 2.3.1. I am experimenting with tftpd and PXE to boot a linux machine over my network. I added tftpd to the boot cd and added it to my leaf.cfg file. It shows up in the backup menu but I do not see an entry for it when I issue the ps command and there is no configuration
