I wouldn't use Zurich. They're clowns. A couple of weeks ago they refused to change my wife's insurance to her new car because it was "too high performance, too modified and a boy racer car". It's a standard 1.6 litre Mini Cooper. For a female driver, approaching 50 and with 18 years no claims

It's worth taking it out for the first event of death or diagnosis of critical illness. If you find out that you haven't long to go its better to spend the money on your family while you are still alive to do it. Also consider including you wife on the cover so that you can afford to look after
