I think we still own Steve Morison, I wouldn't mind him being given a few
games to prove himself, he showed a few decent touches early on and Millwall
fans rate him.

I hear Dave Hackaday is cheap
PS - any truth in the rumour that Roque Junior is the Brazilian defence coach?

. England needs to find a young, hungry and energetic manager not some old boys

Are we going to be the next Watford with loads of Italian based players now?
Certainly seem to be heading that way.

Watford's Italians were all loanees weren't they? Ours are permanent
signings.
It didn't seem to do Watford much harm. The Italians certainly added
something to their team.

Who could or would do the job better?
2 of last 3 managers have been hailed as best in the world, they failed, we
had the best young English manager he failed spectacularly, before that we
have had a couple of the cockney media's choices in Hoddle and Venebles and

I'm with you Matt, largely on the basis that there isn't anyone but Hodgson.
I like Roy though am concerned that he's become a bit of a media yes man. The
red tops picked the squad for Brazil.

England team smashing

football and It'l football at his age - and the thought of a midfield of
Chamberlain, Barklay, Wilshere and Lallana is quite cheering, isn't it? I worry
that the defence is mediocre, but what can you do, eh?

One of the main problems for any England manager is the media hype of any
player who can show a modicum of talent as world class.
If you look at the semi finalists is there anyone who would displace their own
players for an English one ?
