Gosh - I'm just catching up with the terrible news.
What a sad thing. His poor family must be devastated.
Praying for them all..

So Sorry, to hear Dave’s passing.
I agree with the all the sympathies expressed by many of the list stalwarts
from the late 90s.
It is good to see some of those names again, but as is often the case it takes
such a sad event to instigate such expression.
I’d like to thank Dave for shaving my
I just read the MOALM piece - I’d forgotten all about ‘Bob Holness’ :-)
Both funny and ever so slightly embarrassing. I do remember me and DRB singing
on the train, along with everyone else. Jeez I was pissed. When I got into
Wemberlee I booed Trevor Brooking who walked past, and then we had
Shocking :-(
I recognise the ‘did he actually do any work’ quip - did any of us :-)
Fortunately email and web monitoring wasn’t a thing in the BL back in the
halcyon days of the list, otherwise I’d have been out, courtesy of Voice, Pope

Just as I was about to stop trawling through the archives from 1996 I
stumbled across this which I couldn't resist sharing because it is so
crap. There were lots of laughs in them pre social media days...
N.B. DRB sent this at about half nine in the morning of a Friday - did

Whilst looking for DRB's interview piece with Wilko I came across this
excellent description of the MOALM.
At this rate I'll be reposting Chantelle!

This is very sad news. I can't remember exactly when I joined the list -
somewhere in the '95-'97 timeframe - but DRB was always one of the most
consistent posters. Condolences to his family. And yes, let's hope the team can
win promotion to provide some joy in this otherwise terribly dark
Lovely comments Gav, football is irrelevant in these times, but I guess it's
too late to do a Crowdie for him? (subject to family OK obvs)

Similarly, I didn't know Dave personally, but always enjoyed his contributions
to the list. Condolences to his family and friends, and his Leeds family too.
RIP Dave
