James had 3 shots / chances.A good strike well saved, another chance lashed
well wide and a tame shot from very close range right at the keeper I like his
pace, effort and enthusiasm but he can never be viewed as clinical in front of
goal , despite his goal v Brisbane Roar being a good
Interesting though that the best shot that required a serious save from their
keeper was from James

That's one of the points we were making .We struggled for goals last season
despite being a team who always 'went for it'
We have lost Raphs goals and assists. From admittedly very brief glimpses (
plus looking at thier records) neither Adams nor Roca are goal scoring
midfielders, James
Alas, we looked toothless… very little attacking threat. I am struggling to see
what JM is trying to do in the attacking third. Anybody know?
Cheers

Dirty Villa bast@Ed’s and totally incompetent referring will mean this game
will be remembered more for the appalling foul on Archie Gray by McGinn that
looked to end up in a serious injury. Ref had lost control and two teams who
hate each other started leaving a foot in and plenty of afters.
Yes I thought the 10 men battled well and deserved a point however some of our
play at times is lacking the basics. The amount of times Sacko miscontrolled
the ball was criminal.
TC keeps pushing Shaugjnessy into midfield but he's obviously uncomfortable
playing there.
I think people are now
Proably all down to the sending off
One pice of brilliance by their lad settled it - we gave him too much room but
he hit it wellCannot criticise the ten and subs for effort even if some of our
play was very poor. We almost got a point and we sort of deserved oneThey were
there for the taking
