I think I saw what Allardyce was doing with that lineup...just stop
bloody Kane & Son running riot and keep us in the game for the first hour,
and then, if the other results were going in our favour, bring on some
attackers and really go for it. Also, the 6 CBs might have helped make our

There’s no explanation / excuse for that line up.
Yesterday was a farce.
So many defenders and still 4 soft goals.

The Rutter signing now looks utterly ridiculous from the perspective of
Meant to say we are ‘not quite’ in the same financial shit as with previous

want to leave. The worry is that some of the rubbish won’t.

At least we are not in a Ridsdale scenario? Undoubtedly some average>hapless
players bought, but we were gambling, and eventually our luck ran out. We
deserve to go down, we have not been competitive enough consistently, and the
club needs rodding through to clear the sh*te!
What comes next
Well that was underwhelming.
The same individual defensive errors that have been prevalent for the last
4 years have finally taken their toll.
Coupled with the ability to give away possession softly when committing
people forward which no manager pr team selection has been able to stop.
