I watch a LOT of US shows and you certainly get to the point where the
appearance of a brown skinned guy usually signals a plot about terrorism one
way or the other.

reading it wrong, but this is completely the opposite angle! The central
question is Why are we doing this and Who, if anyone, is the good guy?

I thought 24 was really really poor after bout 6 episodes of it being quite
gripping. I never got through the first series and serious 2 is unopened on my
shelves. Free to good home if buyer (bauer) will collect.

After hearing many people rave about it, I finally took the plunge with 24 a
while back. I enjoyed Season 1, less so Season 2
Boardwalk Empire with Steve Buscemi has been my recent fave US series, not on
at the mo but coming soon again I think. Series 3 of Game of Thrones has got
off to a rather dull start so far.
