As expected (by me at any rate) the only change is Austin in for Tonge
Kenny, Peltier, Lees, Pearce, Warnock, Green, Austin, Murphy, McCormack, Hunt,
Varney.
Subs Ashdown, Brown, Drury, White, Tonge, Poleon, Smith.
So no Hall or youngsters in the squad

Kenny, Peltier, Lees, Pearce, Warnock, Green, Tonge, Murphy, McCormack, Hunt,

With the addition of Byram it looks like our proper ' first team' (plus new
centre back if we buy one)
Subs
Cairns, Brown, Norris, Thompson, Varney, White, Poleon, Pugh, Drury.
I have been trying to work out what our first team is going to look like
Normally when a manager changes the team after an hour, those who start are
likely to be the real starting eleven.
Last night we had Pugh (at centre half), Norris, Brown in midfield none of whom
are likely starters
Perhaps
Team
Kenny, Byram, Lees, Peltier, Warnock, Tonge, Green, Norris, Varney, Morison,
McCormack
Subs
Ashdown, Pearce, White, Brown, Diouf, Habibou, Hall.

No wine tonight mate.
I didn't go to the match but the general opinion is that we played the ball on
the floor, passed the ball well and moved around well. Best since Saints at
home. Would this have been possible with LB in the side ? I think not.
Luke Varney is not the answer but he is better
Apparently it was our standard away performance in the 1st half and I don't
know where you compare tonight with Soton. We should have beaten the v weak
team they put out by 6. We sneaked it tonight.
