Hello, I wanted to post an introductory message to get started with this group. My name is Ron and I acquired an old steel Legacy recently but have not yet set it up. I couldn't pass it up for $200 including 6 or 8 Magnate bits. It is about 9 ft long overall and is fairly complete though lacking

Welcome to the group Ron. You will find using your older machine is the same principle as all the so called newer manual machines. Did you get any training videos with the machine? If not, www.legacywoodworking.com has two places that you should have seen already. The first place to get started
