I've never seen that chain arrangement before. This machine was new in the
box, or am I confusing you with another member?
The drive that is on your machine is made to accept legacy's hubs that
Im guessing those sprockets and chain is a mod done it for strait turning
looking how its set up
It would produce a fine finish on the work when turning with a bottoming
bit using the motor
I made something similar for my mill, but this one needs a chain tensioner
really as well

James you said you had some gears and spare parts I suggest you take some
pictures of all your parts and post them then the guys here can let you know
if you have anything missing
