I have that great tap which I use frequently for custom drive chucks on my
smaller lathe so I’ll take myself out of the competition.

Me too especially after they introduced the last model the evolution it was on
liner rails so work like dove tails and box joint would have been even better
to do but it with all the other manual models is keeping the dodo bird company

The clamps should work ok remember your cutting pushing to the rails not away
from them, you could always pop a couple of g clamps on the bottom rail to your
job as well if you’re worried

I will find ,or make the bits that are missing, cam parts, tube spacer etc.
The clamps do not seem to have very wide surface clamping area about 3/4"
but will try them out .
I have not found the templates for the dovetails either, but will ask the
last owner when I see him next, some
