I bought a Woodrat 900 when the Person who had changed his mind on selling

I installed a Z axis last year after having used a plunge router

poorly designed stock depth stop, I really like it. The increased view of

Russ your wooden Z axis give you better control of your plunge router. I very
much like that part.
The main reason why I went the way of making my own Z axis was due to the

Everybody does it differently. This has worked for me and I spent less than
$20 in total. How much does the Woodrat plunge bar cost? How long does it
take to attach and set up the Woodrat plunge bar? Not sure what you mean by
“wood for Z Axis fittings”.

My Router has a Woodrat plunge bar fitted, it would be quite easy to
control the pinch effect by making a screw thread and half nut,

In addition to the deeper plunging, the Z axis can also provide greater
control when lowering the router into work.
It's not so bad if you only make height changes while the router is off to
the side of the workpiece, out of contact with it, when you lower it. The

I have both the Woodchuck and the Revo, and the best, in my opinion and it
may be only my opinion and not others!!!
These two LOM's seem to work well together. Although the Revo rails could
