There is no reason to respond to Don...Elvis has left the building!
If there is any doubt, the questionnaire is not about shaming, but what I
need to do to the web site. I needed to know current popular viewing

Hi everyone!
I'm a new member here, thanks for letting me join the group.
I'm a woodworking hobbyist in Atlanta, GA. I bought my LOM 15 years ago,
set it up and moved to Europe before ever milling a single piece! I've just
got it out of storage a few weeks ago and am anxious to get to work!
Don you are welcome to your opinion, But I for one, feel you are wrong.
There is no Shaming of anyone here. Tim pays the bills and dose the work, he
only wants to find out how many people really use the services of this group.
With a group of over 400 people in the listing, I would bet there
Don,
I wasn't going to rise to the bait, but I feel I must respond.
>From my understanding of the questionnaire in the first place, was to gauge
how much support there was for Tim to continue
to organise the LOM group.
The 447 members that belong to the group, must have at some point in time
No Kidding? Lurkers? Because most members don't live, eat and breath LOM
and fill out the questionnaire, you feel it necessary to shame them into
compliance. I'm tired of the negative attitude this group fosters. If you
are not bashing the maker of the LOM, you are criticizing the members
Agree with Brigitte, go figure?
Must be scores of LOM just collecting dust all over the place, interestingly
one just came on Facebook’s Market Place only a ½ hour from me, interestingly
belonging to multiple woodworking and woodturning clubs all over the Northeast
I never knew anyone else
Well said young lady, you beat me to it.
Thank you Tim.

Tim,
That is an appalling return to your questionnaire, thank goodness the group

I was Happy to see your name. I thought you had moved on and sold your
machine.
Thanks for your comments on apathy. In a few more weeks I might have more
disparaging data.

Apathy comes to mind.!
Mine was returned as soon as it had been read.
I guess these communications are read by a lot of 'lurkers', who are quite
happy to do their own
The reserve has been met at $500. The only thing that I see is missing gears
including the standard duplex and main gear and all the letter gears except the
one that is one the machine. I bet there is a box sitting around that shop with
them! There's a huge load of router bits that come with
Hello Curtis and Tim.
Very nice way to indexing on turnings.
I'm going to make some rosettes
Have you any idea about rotary table indexing?

Thanks Curt for the review. I like the ones with the protective coating on them
they are thinner than the 1/8" thick ones. The coating is meant to be removed.
I'm going to make a modification to the 12 point indicator based on your
comments.

Thank you everyone for your participation. There where 44 out of 447 members
that helped out. The questionnaire is now closed.
In a couple weeks I'll have a summary that might interest other members.
