Yea, this was tiger maple too. I was splitting after work in the dark and I could still see it. My “spidey sense” was working overtime and had to go back over what I already split and pulled a few more out. Lol Jeff from Connecticut > On Dec 15, 2021, at 2:35 PM, Tim Ziegler wrote: > > When

Hey Jack, Welcome and thanks for the input. Yes the woodworking shows are an awesome place to find new tool, trying to hit the market, and tried and true tools and getting "show specialtys" lol. that is where Bead Loc started I'm pretty sure, Inline Indjustries gets most of his sales at shows too.

Your comments reminded me of the Baltimore wood working show. I went every year when I lived in Maryland. Shows don’t come to Louisiana— closes show is Houston or Atlanta. If anyone can attend a show I highly recommend it. Good place to see what’s new especially new tools created by individuals

There are videos out there where they are doing M on pieces that come together at an angle - and maybe even at compound angles.  You never know how easy or difficult that is/can be until you get your own and do it yourself from start to finish.  Just like so many folks experienced with the LOMs
