Hello Sandee,
Like Bill said early on - Welcome to The Group.
I agree with Bill - given all that is there AND the great condition it
appears to be in, I'd rate the price as one worth paying.
Keep in mind if you are buying it person-to-person vs in a pawn shop or on
eBay, you are also "saving
I also notice they make a foam for pond and landscaping (P&L) use. Check
it out if you are making items for outdoor use. Since the P&L is
waterproof, it would most likely serve as a waterproof "plug" at the ends
of a hollow column.

Just want to let everyone know that the "Über-geeks" are recommending that
we change our password(s) on Google and a number of other sites.
Here is link to an article by Kim Komando (an Über-geek) where she explains

The Woodworking Shows has begun their 2013 "Tour" - starting in Baltimore,
MD.
If anyone in the Group has been to it, please provide us with feedback and
photos (if you took any) - especially of what Legacy presented there. I
was told by Legacy that the Denver Show will be the first where they
Bill,
I checked eBay and Google here in the USA - no "hits" for this Bosch
sander. It is my guess that this sander was made for certain markets
(your country being one?) - with the United States not being one.
I have never seen the tool here. And based on a few comments I read
about it, my guess

I trust this will be helpful (I have never used the device - but it
looks to be what you need.)
Aren't you glad you post on the LOM Google Group? Please keep in

Harvey,
Thanks. It was most likely full, as someone sent me a mega file. I will
be deleting it soon. You should be able to resend in 1 hour from now -
about midnight Wed/Thurs evening.
Thanks.

What I see in the description in the Craigslist posting reads:
"Legacy Model 1000 Ornamental Woodworking Mill with router,
attachments and manual."
Also, I don't see an "image"(like a stock drawing/image) - rather what
I call photographs - that are in all probability the LOM that they

Thanks - checked out U Ship. Looks like it might work.
One site I found that seems to be the way to go is www.FreightCenter.com.
I "made up" a shipment from West coast --> East coast. Impressed with
results. I also go a call from their Cust Svc - in case I had any
questions.

Does anyone have experience with a shipping service/freight company
and their shipping a LOM long distance (half way across the USA)?
If one were to buy a LOM from someone half way across the USA, who

It is 37" long and $45.99. They have a 107" version as well - for
$83.99. I've never used one, so I'll let you decide.

I did a little "research" - since Google would not bring up any pics
of a Woodchuck IRT 33.
What I found is that the IRT stands for Indexing Rotary Table - and it
in fact was called a
Woodchuck and probably/possibly was the first model of machine that
Andy Anderson and
Phantom Engineering produced.
The sanding mop (I have one - works great.) is put in a drill press or
a hand-held drill; not a router .
Router RPM is WAY too fast - you'd have sandpaper all over the place.
