Yes the bone turning is a lot of fun, would be great to see others start
working on this too.
Curt worked with me on it and though I have not turned near as many bone
turnings as Curt
I really enjoy it.

turning bone on and with the Legacy is really a pretty easy job.the only trick
is processing the bone and making it into a blank for turning.but even that is

Curt, I am convinced that your idea of doubling the pitch on the lead screw
will open up a lot of new possibilities and work just fine as long as you
change out the half nut too.

No one out side this group will ever know that was a mistake made.
I like to use the Legacy for adding details. You may not need a lathe to use
the Legacy,But by no means, Dose this mean, You cant use it with the lathe (or
any other tool in the shop.)to make your projects turn out muc

Im learning a lot about the bare bones on this topic. ;-p
If you are going to work with bone. the thy bone is the biggest on most animals
but NOT the thickest bone to work with. The bone that I found to be the
thickest would be what we call the shin bone (on humans) the bone just
looks great curt i love how well bone mills on the legacy I'm defiantly
going to try this, and i like the cutter too i can use it to cut all sorts
of blanks not just pens, nice one what do all you guys think about milling
bone on the legacy
