FTM does make the best charts of all kinds, when will Legacy do the same, I used to use Mac's Reunion,still think it has all the best features. May have to go back to FTM or Reunion if the next update of Legacy does not include a great charting program, that is Real Trees as in its name.

Can I just put a small plug for Genelines (its universal edition reads Legacy direct) It does 1. Particularly nice fan type charts which I've used as wedding presents etc. 2. Very nice timeline charts - you list your events you want to display - duration of civil war etc, and the ancestors are all

Hi Rob, I don't think you'll find a consensus. They're different. TreeDraw gives you total control as you can edit every element of the chart. Legacy Charting Companion draws some nice pretty charts but you can't edit them at all. It's rather complicated process of trial and error in Legacy Ch

Rob, I have not used Charting Companion so cannot help on that one - maybe someone else can comment on its ouput. Firstly, you can view the output of Tree Draw on my website by clicking the name of any "page holder" but note that as far as I can see the background of all the Tree Draw output is
