I thought we'd discovered ET (sorry bad in-joke - I get those a lot.)
Actually I get these garbage messages at my work email virtually every day.
Up to a hundred junk mail spam and automated mass mailings on every
topic trying to sell ludicrous products in at least four languages every
day.
Is the javascript the if and endif, etc. stuff? Funny - my original copy
did not show anything but the non-alphabetic characters. Only the reply from
Duane asking about it showed these pieces of code. I'm guessing different
mailers handle messages differently. He probably did not even
C. G.,
I worked on this report some more this A. M. It does now work (when
using the maximum # of characters in the event description field) but
only in landscape mode and if I reduce the font size in the data field
to #6. Are these your settings?

Thanks C. G.,
I will when my son has time. I get him to download Legacy at his college
where they have broadband; I will not try to download Legacy on my dial-up.

Not me. Is there a chance it might be Yahoo related?
Apologies to the group for sending this HTML- it would not send in plain
text and preserve the odd characters.

Select the Father. Add 2nd wife. Now the child shows up with 1 set of
parents: Father and 1st wife.
Select the child. Add new parents: Father and second wife. Now, the child
has two sets of parents. You may then set the child's relationship to all
three parents to adopted or biological as

This is very easy Pat,
Utilizing Legacy, has anyone come up with a way to figure age at death for
all direct line ancestors where one has a birth and death year. If so, I'm
not a pro and need step-by-step directions.

I see that the Deluxe Edition, which I have, automatically forms
the events into sentences when printed. How about if I don't
want to use them in sentences, is there a way to shut off that
option? I had hoped the 'sentence override' would do it, but it
doesn't. I really hate to just delete

Hello! I am creating a Descendent Report and wanted to include Sources.
However, the Source buttons are all grayed out. Is this normal for a
Descendent Report, or a glitch at my end (could I have turned something
off)?
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Toronto,
Is this the chart report or the Descendant Book Report. The Chart Report does
not allow sources but the Desacendant Book should allow sources. If it is the
book style report try clicking the Reset button on the Report screen to reset
the options then use the Report Options Button to see if the
Hi Wendy!
Thanks for letting me know you are grayed out too. According to Brian's
e-mail we should probably have access to the Sources options.
Thanks for the work around though! :)

Would you REALLY! want your chart cluttered up with superscripts on all
the names and dates? We have enough trouble keeping the text in the
boxes now without adding supersripts to the mix. And then we would have
to add extra pages with all the sources listed.
