Janis,
There is a program - I cannot for the life of me remember which it is - that
you can install on your thumb drive which will allow full installation of
executable programs such as Legacy and not involve the host computer in any
way. It becomes its own C: drive in a way. You can then run
Mojopac has already been mentioned in this thread. But as I understand it,
you need to have administrator rights to the XP PC you're plugging the thumb
drive into which to me is a significant barrier.
I would be interested in a mechanism that would allow me to run Legacy on a
library PC while
I went to the Mojppac web site (http://www.mojopac.com/portal/content/what/)
and found this:
Note: The current version of MojoPac requires administrative privileges on
the host PC. We have an Authorized Administrative Privileges setting
available today which is an ideal solution for

starting person (me most likely) be able to print in reports/charts still in
line for a possible addition to Legacy? It's the one problem I have because
it takes me such a long time to put the relationship designation into
I wholeheartedly support this idea.
As a user of Brother's Keeper prior to switching to Legacy some years
ago that is THE feature I miss from Brother's Keeper, which has that
ability. Fact is, I still keep BK updated so as to be able to GEDCOM
my Legacy info into it in order to get that
I'll add a second to this request ... a great idea ...
And that is a very witty ID, ruth ...

Thank you, gc and Bob - I miss this feature from Generations genealogy which
only works on Apple now. Hopefully this will be one of the enhancements
soon.
I refuse to change internet servers because I don't want to lose my
identity - I love being baberuth - at 70+ I still feel like a babe = I
Yes, I too would like this. It is logged in our enhancement request
