Arnie, That's true. Legacy removes files that are part of the original install but not files that a user creates (such as Family Files, saved report options) or changes (usr files). Most of the folders are retained. The uninstall removes Legacy from the registry and removes shortcuts. Thanks f

Have you installed any other software at the same time Legacy stopped working? Another program may have overwritten the file with an earlier version that breaks Legacy. To check the file version, go to your Windows\System32 folder in Windows Explorer. You may need to click Tools_Folder Options_

I'm running a late XP on a machine which replaces one that died last December, so my Legacy program was a new install on a clean machine in early January. I just ran a search on XCeedZip.dll and found two copies, one in the Legacy\backup folder and the other in the \WINDOWS\system32 folder.
