Hello,
Could someone give me an example of how they source information from a
message board and also a Rootsweb family tree?
Thanks,
Melanie Tucker

Kate and others,
Thank you for the tips. I was fearing that I would need to set Legacy aside
while I documented the suspected family links. Your suggestion to just enter
it, and then sort it out is a good one. I see that I can use the Source
Button and fields to show just how good my information
It is easy to show list of everyone who is using a particular source(s).
But there are many, many sources which could be the source(s) of a particular
event, e.g. Birth, which could be supported by birth certificates, military
records, death records, and innumerable online database
Melanie,
For the Rootsweb family tree (aka WorldConnect), I created a master source
called GEDCOM - 'file-name' by Mary Doe. Title is The name they gave it.
Author is Mary Doe. Under publication facts, I gave Last updated Jul 2002;
Ancestry.com. Although this might not seem correct if you are
Thank you
Still annoys me that one can't do it directly

What a
Good morning all - such a beautiful day in Sydney.
As I am new to Legacy and as I am about to go on a research trip I would
like to know how best to organize my to do items to help me expedite
my research as I understand this is a very useful part of Legacy.
As I will not have very much time
Hi everyone,
I tried to check for the latest update and can not log onto Legacy via
Legacy, I can not do an IGI search, It will not even look to see if there is an
update. When I go to the legacy site and try to download the latest update it
says can not connect with the network server,
I think it is a glitch on legacy's part as I cannot log in at all and my
ISP says there is no problems on thier end and to chek withthe webmaster. I
guess we will have to wait and see I thought I might have done something
wrong since i am new to this site.

Same here. It is working for me. The problem is elsewhere, not
Millennia. If it were Millennia, none of us Legacy users could get on it.

This sounds like a Firewall issue ... software firewalls generally have
lists of applications/programs that they will let access the internet or
let be accessed externally. Often these will ask if you want to grant
access the first time they are seen (you can usually say, yes only this
time,

Surely the cost of the upgrade will be less than the cost of Legacy 6.
